Straight answers
Will you try to take our clients?
No, and we put it in writing. Every partnership starts with an NDA and a no-poaching clause covering your accounts. As your extended team, we stay off client emails and only show up if you put us on a call. On a referral, we do only the job you introduced us for and never go back to that client about anything else.
How do we decide between the two models?
If accessibility only comes up now and then and you do not want to run the job, refer it and take a fee. If you want it on your proposals and retainers as your own service, bring us in as your extended team and keep the client and the pricing.
Most partners start with one and add the other later. You can also use a different model for different clients. We will work out which fits on the first call.
We already resell an accessibility widget. Why change?
Keep it if your client likes it. However, a widget doesn't resolve the accessibility issues in a website's underlying code. Sites with widgets installed have still been hit with ADA lawsuits, which shows that a widget alone doesn't make a site accessible.
Fix the code underneath so the compliance claim is actually true. And be careful with any vendor who guarantees compliance.
Our developers built the site. Are you going to make them look bad?
Every site has accessibility problems, including ours. We write the findings as a to-do list in priority order, not a verdict. We are happy to word the report as ongoing maintenance rather than a post-mortem.
Do we need to know anything about WCAG to sell this?
No. We give you the questions to ask, a one-page explainer you can forward to a client, and a briefing call for your account team. If a client asks something technical, put us on the call.
What if we have only one project a year?
That is fine. No minimum, no yearly commitment, no platform fee. Start with the free audit and see if it turns into a proposal.
